Dear Mr. Gooch:

Thank you for writing such an awesome and memorable book. My name is Darlene Turner, the daughter of William "Bill" Turner. It is my understanding that he was one of your apprentice pilots.
The book has really inspired my father and he is just ecstatic about it. I have always been proud of my father for his hard work and perserverance. He never gave up on his dreams to become a pilot.
It is just so ironic how the two of you have such a similar pathway throughout life.
I really wish that I could meet you one day. If not, just to have the opportunity to talk with you would be great also.

Please call me at your convenience (229) 364-1948.

Again, thank you so much, we are all greatful for all you have done.
